The PGA Tour schedule officially began in 2025 with the Sentry, and the Sony Open in Hawaii is next. Last year, the early portion of the schedule suffered from bad weather. There were so many delays, cancellations, and high wind/rain rounds throughout the beginning of 2024.

This year, that may or may not be an issue. At least for the opening round of the Sony Open, there's only a moderate chance of rain playing a role, and the wind isn't expected to be hugely impactful.
