Perhaps one of the biggest, if not the biggest surprises of the 2024-25 season is the Cleveland Cavaliers jumping ahead to be the best team record-wise (27-4). The Cavs are higher in the standings than the stacked Boston Celtics squad that won last year's title and maintained every member of their core. They are also arguably better than any team in the West.
If there's one thing that's known about team success in the NBA, it's that no one reaches these levels without multiple All-Stars. However, it might seem that some justification needs to be made for why the Cavs deserve to have several of their players make this year's All-Star team.
