Adam Fox frustrated as Rangers lose to Panthers 5-3 despite improved special teams (Source: Imagn)
New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox expressed frustration after a 5-3 loss to the Florida Panthers on Monday. Despite improved special teams play, Fox felt the Rangers couldn’t convert their efforts into a win.
Fox, who is under a seven-year, $66.5 million contract, emphasized that the team needs to start winning. The Rangers have lost four straight games and seven of their last nine.
"I feel like we came out of this break looking to use it as a reset. Last game was really special teams that killed us. Special teams were obviously much better today. It kind of feels like we’re repeating the same stuff at this point. At some point, it’s got to be wins," Fox said.
