Though they still don't get OWGR points, LIV Golfers are not prohibited from playing in the Major tournaments. They can secure invitations through other means, and many of them have been invited for the 2025 Masters.

Winning the 2022 Open Championship, which happened just before he defected to LIV Golf, got Cameron Smith entry into the next few Masters. He is also eligible for this year because he was in the top 12 last year.
