Al-Raed take on second-tier Al-Jabalain at the Al Raid Club Stadium on Monday for their quarter-final clash in the 2024-25 King's Cup of Champions. The Buraidah outfit are looking to put their Saudi Pro League struggles behind them and restore some normalcy in their campaign with a win.
On the cup front, it's been good for them so far. Odair Hellmann's side overcame Jeddah 2-0 in the last 32 courtesy of goals from Mohamed Fouzair and Karim El Berkaoui. They then beat Al-Najma 1-0 in the round of 16, this time through a strike from Saleh Al-Amri.
For the first time in the competition this season, Raed Al Tahadi play a King's Cup game on home turf, and anything but a victory would be considered a failure. Head coach Hellmann is likely to field a strong XI with all key players involved, hoping to avoid a third consecutive loss in official games.
