Alex Bregman will sign $225,000,000 deal with AL Central team, per Red Sox analyst - Source: Imagn
Two-time World Series champion Alex Bregman is surprisingly still a free agent, waiting for a contract reportedly worth over $200 million. Teams initially interested in his services have either moved on or signed someone else, leaving his market relatively short.
Amid the buzz, Red Sox analyst Jared Carrabis, on his podcast "Underdog MLB," predicted if Bregman will sign a contract he desires. He said that the superstar third baseman could land a massive $225 million deal over eight years — potentially with a surprise bidder like the Detroit Tigers.
"I think if you're the Tigers and you want to make a splurge, I think you're looking at around $225 million for eight years," Carrabis said (1:07:55 onwards).
