Almeria will host Sevilla at the Estadio del Mediterraneo on Saturday evening in the round of 32 of the 2024-25 Copa del Rey campaign. The hosts will be confident to go through to the next round despite being up against stronger opposition.
Almeria picked up 2-1 wins in their two previous Copa del Rey matches against UD Sanse and, more recently, Cultural Leonesa. The hosts were knocked out last season by Segunda Federación side Unión Deportiva Barbastro in the second round of the domestic cup.
Sitting atop La Liga 2, La Union are currently unbeaten in their last 14 games across all competitions with 11 wins and three draws and will hope to continue that remarkable form on Saturday.
