Anthony Santander gets $82,000,000 offer from AL East team, per MLB insider

After falling short of several blue-chip free agents this offseason, the Toronto Blue Jays are hot on the trail of former Baltimore Orioles slugger Anthony Santander. MLB insider Hector Gomez, who initially reported the Blue Jays to be a top contender to sign him, said on Wednesday that Mark Shapiro's team has offered the outfielder a four-year, $82 million deal.

Santander, who had a career year with the Orioles in 2024, hitting .235 and 44 home runs, is looking to sign a long-term deal.
