Curry's remarks come as the Warriors fall to a .500 record. While he expressed hope and confidence in the team's bouncing back, he acknowledged how poorly the team has been performing and the tough task ahead.

"As the kids say, 'We're very mid right now.' We're just very average. I think we understand that better days can be ahead. We're not that big of a hold in the Western conference ... you can make up a lot of ground pretty quickly. It's a tough task," Curry said postgame.
