Bengals WR Jermaine Burton reportedly accused of physical assault by 19-year-old

A report published by The Enquirer on Wednesday states that Cincinnati Bengals wideout, Jermaine Burton, has been accused of physical assault by a 19-year-old woman that he was dating. Some people thought it was fishy when the Bengals decided to leave Burton at home when they traveled to Pittsburgh to play their divisional rivals, the Steelers, on Saturday.

Later, rumors of a possible assault by Burton surfaced online. Jermaine Burton did not explicitly deny or acknowledge them, but merely posted a cryptic message on his Instagram.

"*lies*. Stop hitting my phone," Burton wrote on his Instagram story.
