NFL analyst Boomer Esiason suggested Deion Sanders might orchestrate a move for his son Shedeur Sanders to the New York Giants. The potential strategy mirrors Eli Manning's 2004 draft maneuver, where he forced his way to New York.
The Giants hold the third overall pick in the 2025 draft and are expected to take a quarterback after parting ways with Daniel Jones. However, they are positioned behind the Tennessee Titans and the Cleveland Browns, which could present a roadblock if they wish to select Sanders.
On WFAN Sports Radio on Monday, Esiason discussed with co-host Gregg Giannotti how Coach Prime might influence his son's NFL destination. They drew parallels to Manning's historic draft-day move, when the Ole Miss quarterback refused to play for the San Diego Chargers, leading to his trade to the Giants. Manning ended up winning two Super Bowls in New York.
