Collin Morikawa offered his thoughts on the new bracket format which is reportedly being planned for the TOUR Championship. According to the two-time Major champion, the final event of the PGA Tour season has yet to find its optimal format.
During a press conference at The Sentry, Collin Morikawa reflected on the fact that a single tournament determines the season's champion. This remains the format that is reportedly being evaluated for implementation.
Giving his take on the reported format, Collin Morikawa said (via ASAP Sports):
"Golf is too hard. Golf is normally played over four rounds, it's hard to play, you know, one versus one and say you're the better player, because day by day it's not about just today, it's not about just tomorrow, it's an accumulation of your four rounds."
