The Sacramento Kings rallied from an 18-point deficit in the first quarter to win 110-100 on Monday against the injury-hampered Dallas Mavericks. Sacramento dominated the second half 54-40 after trailing 60-56 at halftime. De'Aaron Fox finished the game with 33 points, six rebounds, six assists and one steal.
The Kings got a big boost from Domantas Sabonis, who tallied 17 points, 16 rebounds, seven assists and one steal. Doug Christie, taking over the fired Mike Brown, won his first game as an interim head coach.
Without Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving and Klay Thompson, the Mavericks leaned on Spencer Dinwiddie and P.J. Washington. Dinwiddie ended the night with 30 points, six assists and three rebounds. Washington scored 19 points in the first half and finished with 28 with four rebounds and two blocks.
