Derrick Rose opened up about how his career might have turned out had he not been injury-prone. Rose is one of the NBA's biggest "what ifs," as he became the youngest NBA MVP in league history and was named an All-Star three times before injuries.
During a press conference on Saturday, D-Rose looked back on his career path, acknowledging that despite the setbacks, the experience led him to a greater sense of self-awareness and personal growth.
However, given his fierce competitive nature, Rose expressed that if he had won a championship with the Bulls, it wouldn't have been just one title.
"Who knows? But at the same time, with me being obsessed, I wouldn't have found out who I was as a person. I was obsessed with the game — not love — I was obsessed," Rose said.
