McLaren driver Oscar Piastri claimed that he had more room for improvement despite winning two races in a sophomore year in Formula 1. The Aussie driver held his own against his teammate, Lando Norris on several occasions throughout a competitive 2024 season.
The 23-year-old showed consistency throughout the 24 races and six Sprints as he was the only driver to complete every lap of the season and ultimately finished P4 in the driver's standings.
However, Piastri was outscored and out-qualified by Norris on most occasions and was unable to extract the maximum out of the MCL38 as his British team. Speaking with GPBlog, Oscar Piastri recognized that he had a good second year with the Woking-based outfit but could still improve in several areas, saying:
