On Monday, President-elect Donald Trump met with Washington DC mayor Muriel Bowser and one of the many topics the two discussed was reportedly Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.
Trump, who has been involved in different professional sports leagues as a businessman and an avid fan, sounds like he is officially on the Jayden Daniels bandwagon.
During their Monday meeting, Bowser said that Trump is "well aware" of who Daniels is and understands why he should be Rookie of the Year and an MVP candidate.
NBC reporter Mark Segraves posted on X (formerly Twitter):
"While @MayorBowser was tightlipped on details about her meeting with @realDonaldTrump Bowser did say she and President Elect did talk about @Commanders @JayD__5 “He was well aware of Jaden Daniels and why he should be the rookie of the year and possibly the MVP” @nbcwashington."
