“Don’t think I pushed him very hard” – Aaron Rodgers gets blunt on his unnecessary roughness penalty in brutal Jets loss

Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets suffered a blowout defeat at the hands of their divisional rivals, the Buffalo Bills, on Sunday. While the Bills managed to light up the scoreboard with 40 points, the Jets only managed to secure 14 for themselves.

The four-time NFL MVP threw two interceptions during the game. During the second pick, A-Rod was flagged for unnecessary roughness. The Jets QB threw a deep ball toward Allen Lazard, but his pass was picked off by CB Christian Benford.

Rodgers then chased down the defender and shoved Benfort on the sidelines. The refs penalized the Jets by awarding the Bills with 15 yards which also helped set up a touchdown drive.
