Meanwhile, the Ottawa Senators (18-13-2) defeated the Vancouver Canucks 5-4 in overtime in Saturday night’s late game. Jake Sanderson lifted the Senators, allowing them to escape with the two points, placing the Sens in a fourth-place tie with the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Atlantic Division.
