Former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders is likely at the top of a few NFL Draft. The New York Giants, who have been in turmoil at the QB position after releasing Daniel Jones earlier this season were positioned to draft Sanders however a new mock draft shows otherwise.
ESPN's Jordan Reid released an updated mock draft after the conclusion of the 2024 NFL regular season. The Tennessee Titans have the first overall pick and Reid believes Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward would be the first off the board.
Reid then speculates that the Cleveland Browns would select Shedeur Sanders with the second overall pick in the draft. This would be an interesting move as they have Deshaun Watson under contract until the 2026 NFL season. Watson has however been injury-prone over the last three seasons and the Browns need a reliable backup.
