Former NFL star LeSean McCoy ignited debate in the MVP race by backing Josh Allen over Lamar Jackson. His argument centered on the Buffalo Bills quarterback's ability to excel despite having significantly fewer Pro Bowl teammates than his Ravens counterpart.
McCoy, a former Philadelphia Eagles running back, brings a veteran perspective to a heated MVP discussion. Allen and Jackson have emerged as frontrunners, with betting markets favoring the Bills' signal-caller, according to recent NFL MVP Watch reports.
Speaking on "The Facility" on Thursday, McCoy addressed the Pro Bowl roster announcements. The timing proved perfect, as the Ravens had just set a team record with nine selections, their highest mark since 2019.
"I'm gonna go with Josh though," McCoy said. "You know, it's funny that today all the Pro Bowls came out, I knew that none of the offensive weapons for Josh Allen would make the Pro Bowl. But for the Ravens, oh, my man, they got some pieces over there."
