Bill Belichick knows a thing or two about creating winning teams. The current North Carolina head coach won six rings with the New England Patriots during his NFL days, and he's widely considered the greatest coach of all time in the league.
But that doesn't mean that he has all the answers. His unique approach to resting players had doubters.
Belichick fostered a mentality where every player was the same, and stars would not get the benefit of the doubt on a roster led by him. The best example of this was his treatment of star quarterback Tom Brady, which isn't universally agreed on.
Former superstar cornerback Richard Sherman, who himself lost a Super Bowl playing against a Belichick-led team, thinks star players should get privileges, especially as the salaries are related to their levels:
