Former F1 world champion Damon Hill was full of praise for Ferrari's final farewell to its driver Carlos Sainz at the end of 2024. The Spanish driver ended his tenure with the Italian team after the season finale in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix which culminated in a four-year association that started in 2021.
Sainz also achieved a few personal milestones in the four years as he had his first win and pole position with the Prancing Horses and ended up with four race wins and six pole positions.
Ferrari posted one final farewell message for the Spaniard on Instagram and wrote:
"One final thank you."
