Lewis Hamilton will be joining Ferrari for the 2025 season, with his debut coming at the Fiorano Circuit in January. According to reports from motorsport.com, the Italian team has planned an 'elastic' schedule for Hamilton's time on the test track for his first session in a single-seater Ferrari car. With dynamic weather conditions, the goal of the testing session at the track is to have acceptable conditions for Hamilton's start to his journey in Ferrari.

The former Mercedes driver will have a day of testing either on January 20th or January 21st, based on the weather. The test program might also continue into Barcelona, where better temperatures may allow for the conditions the team is looking for in regards to Lewis' sessions. Furthermore, the scarlet team has also given themselves a four-day window in which to cancel testing, subject to how the weather turns out in Spain.
