Former New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan is plotting a bold return to coach the team in 2025. Ryan was the Jets coach from 2009 until 2014.

Ryan led the $6.9 billion worth Jets (according to Forbes) to back-to-back AFC Championship Games in his first two seasons but after four years of not making the playoffs, he was fired. He went 46-50 all-time as the head coach of the Jets.

Nearly 10 years after being let go, Ryan says he will interview for the vacant head coaching job during an interview with former Islander Rick DiPietro and New York radio veteran Dave Rothenberg on ESPN.
