Memphis Grizzlies center Zach Edey was the latest NBA player to find himself on the receiving end of a hard foul from Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green. Edey, who is still in his rookie season and played just 22 games at the professional level, was involved in a tussle with Green on Saturday night, with Green receiving a flagrant foul.
The incident took place early in the fourth quarter after Edey brought down the ball in the post and seemed to have a clear dunk opportunity. Green came down hard on the big man, grabbing him with both arms, and that led to some shoving under the hoop. The foul was upgraded to a flagrant foul penalty 1 after the officials reviewed the play.
This was not Green's first scuffle with an opposing player this season. One former NBA player seems to have had enough of the forward's antics. Ron Harper, who played alongside the legendary Michael Jordan during the Chicago Bulls' golden era in the 90s, posted on X criticizing Green for his behavior.
