Fulham will attend to their FA Cup commitments on Thursday night as Watford visit Craven Cottage for a third-round tie. Marco Silva's men are navigating what could best be described as a semi-green patch in the Premier League, having gone unbeaten in their last eight matches.
However, having won only six of those eight matches, Fulham will now be forced to alter their habits and go in for the kill when the Hornets pay them a visit in the knockout competition. They settled for a 2-2 draw with relegation-threatened Ipswich Town last Sunday.
Despite their inability to put games to bed, Fulham sit healthily at ninth in the league table and trail the top four by just six points.
