Golden State Warriors Injury Report (Jan. 4): Latest update on Steph Curry and Co. (Image Source: Imagn)
The Golden State Warriors host the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. The Warriors are looking to turn a corner after recording just their fifth win in 19 games in their previous outing against the Philadelphia 76ers at home. Steph Curry returned to his absolute best after a mediocre stretch, dropping 30 points and 10 assists, going 8 of 8 from 3.
The Warriors took a 13-point lead behind Curry's hot start and never looked back. His support cast stepped up, too. Jonathan Kuminga continued his fine stretch with a 20-point effort off the bench. Meanwhile, Dennis Schroder, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green scored 15 points each.
The Warriors put up a complete performance after a long time, where they didn't rely on Crurry or Kuminga to produce the goods. The defense was also just as good. It felt like a momentum-shifting win, but the Warriors have some adversities to face ahead of Saturday's rivalry game against Memphis.
