The Toronto Maple Leafs (25-13-2) host the Philadelphia Flyers (17-18-4) on Sunday at Scotiabank Arena in the second half of a back-to-back weekend set. After a 6-4 win over the Boston Bruins on Saturday night the Leafs are back in action.
Joseph Woll started in Saturday night's win making 27 saves on 31 shots. Because Woll just played, 23-year-old Dennis Hildeby will start on Sunday against the Flyers.
Hildeby and Matt Murray have split time as the backup during Anthony Stolarz's injury absence. It will be Hildeby's first start since a 5-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres on December 15. In three starts this season, Hildeby has gone 2-1-0 with a 3.69 goals against average, and an .875 save percentage. It will be his fourth career NHL start.
