Hibernian and Rangers square off in round 22 of the Scottish Premiership on Sunday
The action continues in round 22 of the Scottish Premiership as Hibernian and Rangers go head-to-head at the Easter Road Stadium on Sunday. Both sides head into the weekend off the back of contrasting results in their first outing of the new year, with Philippe Clement’s men claiming an emphatic victory in the Old Firm derby.
Hibernian were denied a winning start to the new year as they could only salvage a 1-1 draw against 10-man St. Johnstone on Thursday. Before that, David Gray’s side were on a four-game winning streak, including a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Hearts at Tynecastle Park on Boxing Day.
Hibernian have picked up 25 points from their 21 Premiership games to sit seventh in the league standings but could move into fifth place with all three points this weekend.
