Max Verstappen reacted to the rumors of Red Bull sorting out a future contract for his unborn baby, saying he needs to have a word with team principal Christian Horner first. Jokes aside, the Dutch driver said that he does not want his child to become a racing driver and instead wants him or her to design cars.

Before the adventurous season concluded in Abu Dhabi, Max Verstappen announced that he was expecting his first child with girlfriend Kelly Piquet. The couple, having dated for four years, will embrace the crucial step of parenthood in 2025.

As soon as Max unveiled the news, Red Bull senior advisor Helmut Marko joked that the Dutchman's newborn could have the potential to be a world champion. He further added that the team would be willing to sign the baby in the junior academy irrespective of gender as 'fast women' are equally in demand.
