Lionel Messi was not happy with Jamie Carragher
Jamie Carragher revealed in 2023 that Lionel Messi was not happy with his comments and called him a donkey. The Liverpool legends asked Kate Abdo, his CBS colleague, to translate the Instagram DM he got from the Argentine.
Speaking on CBS Sports, Carragher claimed that Messi slid into his DMs in 2023 and called him a 'burro'. The former defender did not understand what it meant and needed help from Abdo to understand that he was being called a donkey.
However, Carragher has always maintained that Messi is the Great Of All Time for him. He claimed in 2023 that Cristiano Ronaldo was never on the same level as the Argentine and said:
