Steve Nicol warns Chelsea against signing Kobbie Mainoo
ESPN pundit Steve Nicol has urged Chelsea not to sign Manchester United star Kobbie Mainoo amid transfer links. Nicol insists that the English midfielder wouldn't be a good fit for the Blues.
Mainoo's future at Old Trafford is currently uncertain. Although he has more than two years left on his contract, reports suggest that the England international is unconvinced of staying at the club.
Manchester United have begun talks over a new long-term deal but negotiations with Mainoo's representatives have not progressed. Amid talks of a potential exit, Chelsea have registered an interest in his services.
