Ralf Schumacher claims Lewis Hamilton will never be able to match his brother, Michael Schumacher, who had a historic, dominant run with Ferrari, as he lacks the traits of a leader. Hamilton is due to join the Italian team in 2025 after he announced the transfer in February.
Scuderia Ferrari achieved enormous success with former F1 legend Michael Schumacher between 2000 and 2004. The German driver won five titles in a row. His leadership and team-building skills were believed to have been the driving force.
Michael's brother, Ralf Schumacher, raised doubts about the 39-year-old's ability to emulate Michael's success. Speaking to Planet F1, Ralf said:
"The biggest difference is that Michael, among many other qualities, was able to develop a car perfectly for his driving style together with the engineers. Lewis can't do that. He's never been able to do that if you listen carefully to what the Mercedes technicians say."
