The Detroit Pistons will face the Charlotte Hornets on Friday, but they will be without their young guard Jaden Ivey. Ivey suffered a severe injury during Wednesday's game against the Orlando Magic and had to be stretchered off the court.
It was later confirmed that Ivey sustained a fractured fibula in his left leg, for which he successfully underwent surgery on Thursday. Initially, the injury appeared season-ending after Cole Anthony unintentionally caused the injury.
