Lee Chieh-po has become the first golfer from Chinese Taipei to earn full status to play on the Saudi-backed LIV Golf. The 30-year-old golfer won the 2024 LIV Golf Promotions event, which concluded with its final round on Saturday, December 14.

The tournament featured a full field of players from various golf series competing for a coveted spot in the 2025 LIV Golf season. Unlike regular LIV Golf tournaments, which do not have a cut line, the Promotions event included two cutlines.

After the first 18 holes, only players finishing in the top 20 and ties qualified for the second round, held on Friday, December 13. After the second round, the top 20 players advanced to the final two rounds, held on Saturday, December 14.
