Jets HC hopeful puts his foot down, promises end to Aaron Rodgers’ ‘country club’ era | Image Source: Getty
For the New York Jets, a disappointing season ended with a 32-20 win over the Miami Dolphins where they poured cold water on Mike McDaniel's hopes of making the playoffs. The Jets had little to play for but Aaron Rodgers still ended up putting on a show, throwing 274 yards and four touchdowns, the first of which was his 500th career touchdown.
Rodgers showed the world he still has some football left in him and after Week 18, there's still a section of people in the NFL world who believe the Jets should bring the four-time NFL MVP back for next season. One man who is in that camp is Rex Ryan, who has already interviewed with the franchise for the vacant head coach role. However, Ryan made it clear that he will not stand for Rodgers missing mandatory minicamp like he did last year.
