Jets legend Joe Namath makes opinion crystal clear on Aaron Rodgers | Image Source: Getty
Week 18 is in the books, which means it's time for Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets to have a conversation about what the future looks like. The Jets don't have a coach in place, nor a general manager, after they fired Robert Saleh and Joe Douglas in the middle of the season.
While they need to fill those vacancies, there's also the question of settling Rodgers' future to give them enough time to make some ancillary decisions regarding the state of the roster. One man who believes Rodgers should consider running it back with the franchise is New York Jets legend Joe Namath.
After the Jets' Week 18 win over the Miami Dolphins, Namath tweeted:
"After watching Aaron Rodgers play today, there's no doubt he's got at least another year in him. So if he WANTS to, I'd love to see him stay with the Jets. He could definitely help the new GM and coach, as well as play ball. He's still throwing with accuracy and authority."
