Jimmy Butler made his feelings known on the Miami Heat amid a slew of trade rumors suggesting he's only on his way out. After Heat executive Pat Riley said he won't trade the six-time NBA All-Star, Butler is seemingly forcing his way out.
He dropped a bombshell claim after putting up a nine-point showing in Miami's loss to the Indiana Pacers on Thursday, claiming he may not find 'joy' playing basketball with the Heat again.
"I feel like I did my job, at least what my job is now," Butler said about his underwhelming performance.
He expressed he wasn't happy with his role on the court and wanted his "joy back." When asked if that would happen in Miami, Butler said:
