Joan Laporta wants to sign Arsenal target at Barcelona in January – Reports

Barcelona president Joan Laporta is aiming to utilize the January transfer window to bolster the squad, as per a report from Spanish outlet El Nacional. The top priority for the Barca supremo is Sporting forward Viktor Gyokeres, who has been in red hot form this season.

Notably, the Catalan outfit are currently facing a tough situation with Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. On one hand, the club was trying to put an end to the registration issues with Olmo and Victor. However, the RFEF and La Liga have not agreed to allow the license requested by the club. On the other, Gyokeres remains a player who is admired by Laporta and someone he is keen on bringing to the club.
