Kasimpasa will face Fenerbahce at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium on Wednesday in the opening round of the 2024-25 Turkiye Kupasi group-stage campaign. The home side have had mixed results in recent games and will be looking to pick up their first win of the year in the domestic cup this week.
They locked horns with Genclerbirligi in the preliminary round of the cup competition last month, beating the second-tier outfit 1-0 with 18-year-old Emirhan Yigit scoring the sole goal of the game after just eight minutes to register his maiden professional strike.
Fenerbahce, meanwhile, have been solid in their domestic assignments this season as they continue to chase leaders Galatasaray in the race for the Super Lig title. They picked up a narrow but thoroughly dominant 2-1 win over Hatayspor in their last match, with Youssef En-Nesyri scoring a first-half brace to secure the points for Jose Mourinho's men.
