Eight-time NBA All-Star guard Kyrie Irving is set to miss some time due to an injury. The 2024-25 season hasn't started the way that the Dallas Mavericks have hoped for. After making the NBA Finals last season, they are seventh in the Western Conference.
Things will get even tougher for the Mavs as NBA insider Shams Charania reported that Irving could miss around 1-2 weeks. Charania and Tim McMahon said in an article that was published by ESPN on Monday that the reason for Irving's absence is a lumbar sprain as he has a bulging disc on his back.
