Liverpool make bid for Real Madrid star after Man Utd draw
Liverpool have stepped up their pursuit of Real Madrid star Aurélien Tchouaméni after their 2-2 draw against Manchester United on Sunday (January 5). The Reds have reportedly made a £41 million bid for the French midfielder.
The Merseysiders were held to a point at Anfield over the weekend as Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah got on the scoresheet. Meanwhile, Lisandro Martinez and Amad Diallo found the back of the net for Manchester United.
Liverpool are still at the top of the Premier League with a substantial six-point lead over second-placed Arsenal. They have a game in hand over the Gunners as well, placing them in pole position to win the title race.
