Many Spanish clubs have reportedly threatened to go to court if LaLiga allows Barcelona to register Dani Olmo this season. The reports come amid the Catalans facing a looming crisis to register Olmo for the remaining half of the ongoing season.
LaLiga had set a deadline of December 31 for Barcelona to re-register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor in accordance with its Financial Fair Play rules. However, the Catalans have failed to register them. Despite their multiple appeals to commercial and investigative courts, no verdict was ruled in favor of Barca. The club has yet to find a solution to register both players despite having crossed the deadline.
According to SPORT journalist Albert Masnou, multiple Spanish clubs could go to court against LaLiga president Javier Tebas if they approve Barcelona's registration of Dani Olmo. The clubs are reportedly arguing against Barca getting alleged preferential treatment from LaLiga.
