Maxx Crosby was ruled out for the season after Week 15, when he announced that he would be undergoing surgery in his feet after nagging issues. His team, the Las Vegas Raiders' slip continued in his absence and they ended the year 4-13. After the season finale, Mark Davis and the Raiders fired head coach Antonio Pierce.
Speaking to a reporter, Crosby made it clear that he loved being a Raider and would ideally continue to remain one. But he also acknowledged that just like owner Mark Davis, he wanted to win as well, but he said he was taking it "one day at a time" on his future.
"All I want to do is win, and that's the number one most important thing to me. So we're gonna see what happens. You know, for me, I truly love being a Raider. I want to win here. I want to win with the Raiders. But, we'll see. There's gonna be a lot of change, and I'm gonna just take it one day at a time. That's literally all I can control."
