Melbourne City FC host Brisbane Roar on Saturday
Melbourne City and Brisbane Roar will trade tackles in an Australian A League clash on Saturday (January 11th). The game will be played at AAMI Park.
The hosts will be looking to build on the routine 2-0 victory they registered over Western United at the same venue on Tuesday. Harry Politidis and Benjamin Mazzeo scored in either half to help their side claim all three points.
Brisbane Roar, meanwhile, fell to a 1-0 defeat at home to Newcastle Jets. Lachlan Rose's 74th-minute strike proved to be the difference between the two sides.
The loss left them at the foot of the standings, having garnered just two points from 11 games. Melbourne City are second on 21 points from the same number of games as Brisbane Roar.
