The New Orleans Saints are on the hunt for a new head coach after parting ways with Dennis Allen in Week 9 of the season. Darren Rizzi served as the interim head coach but, it appears New Orleans will begin a search for their next head coach.
NFL Network's Jane Slater reported on Monday morning that David Shaw is on the list of potential candidates and will have an interview in the near future. Shaw was the head coach for the Stanford Cardinal for 12 years, coaching quarterbacks Andrew Luck and Davis Mills during their collegiate careers.
"Two sources informed tells me the #Saints are gonna interview David Shaw for their HC position. Shaw is currently a senior personnel executive for the Denver Broncos. Shaw was the HC at Stanford for 12 years and coached QBs like Andrew Luck and Davis Mills. He also has an extensive background in the NFL as Asst HC with Eagles, Ravens and Raiders," NFL Network's Jane Slater reported on Monday morning.
