Auckland take on Perth Glory in A-League
In a clash between two teams at the opposite ends of the table, 12th-placed Perth Glory will welcome league leaders Auckland to HBF Park in the A-League on Saturday. Glory have only one win in 12 league games while the visitors have suffered only one loss in 10 games thus far.
The hosts played Sydney in their previous outing on Wednesday and fell to a 3-0 away loss. After a goalless first half, Joe Lolley's hat-trick condemned Glory to their third consecutive defeat. Interestingly, they have conceded three goals apiece in all these losses.
The league leaders have recently seen a drop in form, with just one win in their last four league outings. They played Melbourne Victory in their first game of the year on New Year's Day and were held to a goalless draw, keeping their first clean sheet in five games.
