On Wednesday, January 8, The PGA Tour announced the launch of the Creator Series, a series of tournaments featuring social media content creators. The series will be launched in partnership with Pro Shop Studios.
The news was announced on the PGA Tour's official X (formerly Twitter) account with a post that highlighted the success of the 2024 Creator Classic as the starting point for the creation of this new series:
"More than 20 creators. 3 live events. Following the success of the 2024 Creator Classic, PGA TOUR and Pro Shop Studios are continuing a creator series that will take place across three TOUR events in 2025."
