Phil Mickelson has three children. He's an experienced father, as he became one in 1999. The golfer's first child was born exactly one day after he finished runner-up in that year's US Open. Since then, he's accumulated a variety of experiences that have shaped his parenting style.

On Sunday evening, Mickelson shared one "valuable lesson" he believes all parents can take to heart. It was in the form of an Instagram reel which was shared to the golfer's personal story.
