Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe
Real Madrid believe Kylian Mbappe's goal against Valencia was unfairly ruled out for offside by VAR, according to RMTV. Los Blancos reportedly felt that VAR chose the wrong frame as the ball had already left Bellingham's foot for the pass in it.
The incident occurred during the LaLiga game at the Mestalla on Friday, January 3. The home side took the lead in the 27th minute through Hugo Duro, leaving Real Madrid to chase the game.
In the 60th minute, Jude Bellingham superbly turned on the ball just outside the box and fed Mbappe. The French superstar took the ball in his stride, rounded the goalkeeper, and scored.
However, the goal was checked by VAR, who decided that the 25-year-old had strayed offside and ruled out. It could have been a decisive moment in the game, especially after Vinicius Junior was given a straight red after clashing with Valencia goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski later in the game.
